The History

Founded by Marcus Engel and Arthur Malmis, the firm began as a specialized response to the rapid shift toward asynchronous work environments during the global disruptions of 2020. Our early work focused on documentation frameworks that could survive the loss of physical office culture. As the technology landscape shifted in 2022 with the rise of generative models, our focus pivoted to AI Utility—helping organizations distinguish between marketing hype and deployable infrastructure.

The Team

Marcus Engel

Co-Founder & Board Member

Marcus brings over a decade of cybersecurity and operational strategy experience to ProcessMods. A former U.S. Army Ranger and former-CISO at Coterie Insurance, he led GRC and security narratives through Series A funding and built multi-tier regulatory roadmaps for insurance expansion. He developed the original ProcessMod framework from 2020–2025 before transitioning to a Board Member role, overseeing the firm's proprietary knowledge base and AI implementation tools. He currently serves as Principal at Vectis Partners, providing technical due diligence and AI readiness validation for Private Equity portfolios.

Arthur Malmis

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Arthur leads day-to-day operations and client delivery at ProcessMods. Holding an MBA specializing in Business Intelligence & Analytics and a background in Flutter development, he bridges product thinking with operational execution.

The Methodology

We targeted our consulting, specializing in strategy, technology, and Risk. We provide Modifications—specialized interventions designed to fix specific breaks in the project lifecycle. We operate on a publish-first model, sharing our architectural frameworks through our quarterly Strategic Briefings.
